Kinsley Vaden's Service Animal

July - September 2023

Kinsley Vaden is a 14 year old Freshmen at Cookeville High School who needed a service animal to improve her quality of life. She has Cerebral Palsy and other conditions that make mobility extremely difficult. We also learned that females with a disability are at a much higher risk of sexual assault and service animals are never covered by insurance, despite how much Kinsley and others need them. We raised $3600 for her service animal! We want to thank Amanda Vaden for sharing her families story with us!

We began organizing monthly lunches to offer not just financial assistance but also friendship and mentorship. Through our efforts, we raised $4,000, which cleared their lunch debt and provided for other essential needs. Our dedication to the White Plains Academy is unwavering, and we will continue to support the students in their journey towards a brighter future!
